The bottom cabinets will be cheap..the top part, not so much.

not really, it's simply a double middle and two single cabinets on either side.

Then some minor mill work to create the panels for the shelf across the middle and trim it out.

I was looking at mine last night and it doesn't look like it would be too hard to do.
my biggest issue is the inset area for the W/D is about 2-3" more shallow than the actual W/D. So i'm going to look and see if I can change anything behind the W/D and get them pushed back a little more
