$250 for the engineering and at least $5-$6 a ft for something that size.

        This.

Tim, 4-5 a foot doesn't have cables, or the pull after it's poured to put the tension to it. 4-5 a foot has standard re-bar.

If you get into big beams and what not the footage also goes up due to the added concrete required. So many factors affect cost. How hard it it to get the concrete to it? How much digging required to get it placed properly? Have to haul in dirt to get it on a good elevation?

I could probably do a rebar/beam foundation on this small a place. The other house I have out there is this same size and it has a beam type foundation. In fact I could probably use the engineering plans from that house for this one as well, just change up the layout a bit. No issues on the dirt work, good drainage, nice flat pasture..It's northeast of Mckinney between Melissa and Blue Ridge...
Hey mike, what would a ballpark be to roof a hip roof for 1250 sq feet ? .. Wonder if I should consider metal.

A little different, but I am getting a driveway torn up and poured w/rebar for around $7 a square foot from a buddy of mine that owns a concrete and asphault company.

Im about to do my driveway. I bought all my Re bar already. Im pouring my driveway 6inchs thick with heavy duty rebar. Im still shopping for concrete itself. I think I found a guy who can do the concrete for $4 a SF at a 6inch pour or in short right at $5000 completed

I can beat that $7 a foot, unless it is some aweful pour.

Seb, unless you are planning on driving semis on it that is waaayyyy overkill man.

I agree that the $7 for a drive replacement sounds kinda assuming its a standard 4" broom finish job.

$7 is to remove as well, not just pour.
I am getting mine poured 6 inches in depth with 4000 psi concrete, 16" on center, with expansion joints.
I was told its overkill but I only want to do this once plus it's only a couple hundred more for the additional 2.5yrds of concrete.

I'm looking around now to build a garage and apartment behind my house. Extremely easy to get to. The dirt is all sand so easy removal. I'm wanting it be 24x60 and the garage will be 24x24 and the apartment will be 36x24
