House faces south... The trees were FULL of wasps which I can't stand, I REALLY didn't feel like digging up around them and then buying the chain/strap to be able to tie them to my truck and then haul them all off. In the end, it would have cost me the same amount to do it myself (my time plus money), and I would have hated it. SEB did a bad ass job and was in and out at a great price. I did offer to hook my truck up to his chain a few times though when he got the one wheel peel going but he declined as he didn't want to risk his chain snapping on my truck.

The trees where rooted well & also another factor was the sprinkler system & it wasn't a one man job. Had to have one guy breaking up the root system while another guy ran the chain & truck. I wasn't able to just chain the trees & yank. The sprinkler system was my biggest concern & OP did offer his truck up. But had my chain snapped. No doubt it would go straight through the back window thus me having to pay money. Hence why I used my truck.

trees gone is a huge plus, but now it's too naked. You need something with size under those windows like boxwoods or knockout roses... dunno how they'd do down there but in Ks they are great. Just as hot here in summer, just more humidity.

Yeah, the flower beds do still need some help, that's for sure... I've just been too busy with the car lately. But a steady diet of fertilizer and water has my grass looking nice and green!
