Oh you'd know if you had two acres. If you could front the coin get a rider. Go used to see what ya think. Then save for a new one.

I got a troybilt bronco with a 20 hp kholer engine and its automatic 4 years ago. No problem to really speak of other than me not checking that all nuts and bolts was tight before driving. Nothing major just a nut on the steering linkage.

Parts of my property is rutted up and gets bumpy lol. I just go slow so it's no too ruff. Its mainly in my back yard and part of front. Could have someone level it but my dogs love digging up big as rocks so no point.

I posted the reel mower in jest, but I have been looking at one for the new house. Home Depot has one a little nicer than the pic for $99.

If you have perfect grass they mow like a champ. If you get weeds that pop up over say 5-6 inches you have to work at it a little harder. I had a small yard in Desoto and it took me about an hour to mow and weed eat. The battery powered weed eater was nice also.

I have a pretty close to .8 acres but its goofy and complicated. Push mower took solid two hours to mow it.

I said screw this after mowing in Texas heat for 4 years. Riding mower. 45min and it has a cup holder.
                  Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Riding mower or not, at least I still need a push mower and weed eater.

I do not think you can go wrong with either of those mowers. I've had a craftsman push mower for over 10 years now. However, I would not hesitate to buy anything with a Honda motor either.

I sold my craftsman when I got my two acres. Thinking I wouldn't need it. But getting close to the house and round trees is a pain on a rider. So I plan on a push mower this season to make life a lil easier

I can get just a close to the house or trees with a riding mower as I can a push mower. You guys must need mowing lessons.

When it gets that hot the grass will all be burned up anyway.

I bough the $280 self propelled bagger mower thing at lowes. It cuts and works.

100 bucks says you'd rather be pushing a lot of areas in my lawn. I have a zero turn and it's just quicker to push mow the back 1/3 of land due to all the jungle gym, play areas, trampoline, swing sets and shed. Plenty of places a 50" deck will not even fit.
