  • Bug problem

Anyone know what kind of bug this is and how to get rid of it most efficiently.

Tried a couple of products but nothing has worked.

Bengal roach spray, availble at Home Depot. I haven't used an exterminator since 2004. I buy two large cans twice a year. I spray the entire perimeter of my home and the door thresholds and window sills. Spring and summer and no bugs of any kind can be found in my home or outside of it. It comes out like freon gas, leaves no residue or odor.
My friends from NO turned me on to it, it seems there is a plethora of bugs in NO LA and this is what they use. I was skeptical at first, but it works, they have other products as well, but this is all I use.

Pet safe? I'd like to look into a diy option.

It hasn't killed any of my pets, of course im not going around spraying while they are around. I do put my cat and my dog (when I owned one) up away from what im doing since they tend to be curious. It dissapates pretty quick, once I do the perimeter of my home, I come inside and spray the doors and windows just to be safe, my wife is scared of ANY kind of bug(s) so I have to make sure I get everything.

Its the best alternative to hiring someone that charges quarterly, it can add up to a few hundred a year. This stuff is around $12.00 a can, I get two and do it twice a year, no bugs. You will see a few come in and die and if some make it through, they die within a few feet of where ever they come in from. I was sceptical when my friends told me about it, but it works.
