Can anyone that's done this respond to my previous post. Curious about your experience.

I've got some signs of issues at my house, but I'm not sure how bad it is relatively speaking....thanks in advance. Are you fixing the sheetrock related damage yourself? Elaborate....

foundation companies generally don't do foundation repairs; you'll usually have to get that part done yourself. usually the signs will be separation of expansion joints, mortar, etc. small things can usually be resolved by keeping your foundation watered (run a soaker hose about a foot away from the foundation and set it up on a schedule to run). as far as how they fix it; that varies from company to company, but the standard fix is to install piers to support the foundation, under the beams of the foundation, then raise the area as much as possible, without causing more issues.

How do they gain access to this area under the house?

Place I worked at before they cut holes in the foundation from inside. Of course this was a big office, so maybe they do those differently.

if it's around the exterior, then they just dig a hole underneath the foundation from the outside...if you need interior work, then they have to take up the flooring in that area and make a hole there. on one of my houses, i had tile, so they were able to make the holes where 4 tiles were (each)...i had extra tiles, so i was able to fix it and make it look pretty good. on another, i had wood flooring, and i had the entire floor replaced. if you have carpet in the area, then it's as simple as rolling the carpet back and having a carpet guy re-stretch it when they're done.

I've called them 12 times, left messages and they wont return my calls. Which is weird cause all Im trying to do is give them more business. Maybe they think Im calling to complain? Or maybe they bought new "fancy internets phones" and they cant figure out how to answer them? Foundation still seems to be in good order tho with no issues

That's really not a good sign.
