Thanks, I can't wait to get the glass in there and see how it looks. There is a lot more natural light with the larger opening and makes it look larger from the inside.

Next up is to tile around the tub to match and replace the floor tile.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I was wrong about the glass going in the other day. They came out and measured but glass won't go in till Monday or Tuesday.

couple days is quick. When I did my parents shower, it took 2 weeks to have the glass cut, delivered and installed.

We are hoping it will be usable by middle of the week.

Wow, that looks nice Keith. I may have them do me a bid. I've been wanting to re-do my master bathroom. It needs new tile and I want to use the same in the shower.

The floor in there is the the next on my list to have them do. I would highly recommend them. The shower they just did was half what my other bids were and they were great to work with. No issues and for me that is the most important thing since I am not there to deal with them.

Looks good Keith. When are you planning on doing the floor, have you talked him about it yet?

As for the price, and in fairness to Sean, he gave you a really good price because I asked him to. He is normally very competitive in his pricing though and will give anyone in this thread a hook up.

He moved his main focus from custom home building to commercial building and remodeling but will still do smaller jobs like this - and do a great job!

DiAnn is supposed to ask him how much to do the floor in the same as the shower floor 6" tiles. Seeing the contrast, now I really need to have it done.

I guess I will be the picky one...but I would have gone with frameless glass in a heart beat. The tile looks great

In a perfect world I would have been home and able to have done most if not all of what I just paid David's brothers to do. Saving money on the demo, and reconstruct would have allowed me to afford the frameless stuff but I just couldn't justify spending much more on such a small section of the house.

Floor in the master bath and accent around the tub are next. The contractor tile eventually needs to get busted out of the entire house and replaced. Probably 800sqft after the masterbath is done.

Whoever said that renting was not as smart as owning needs a kick to the balls. lol Owning may be more gratifying by renting would leave me with more cash at the end of the year. lol
