Painting question

do I need primer on a nongloss paint? I need to paint a room to painters white. Whats the easy thing to do? Throw killz on it and be done?
the paint is powder blue and brown.

A really good, high-solids paint will cover that fine. Sherwin-Williams has several.

You should always go two coats when rolling, and not using a primer. It just looks and holds up so much better.
