Yep ain't nothing like real wood floors. I put in almost 700 sqft in August and plan on doing another 600sqft in March. By the time were are done only two bedrooms will have carpet.

Tearing out tile is one of the worst jobs. All the damn thinset is hard to get off the floor to have a smooth floor. I swore to myself next time I take out tile, I will buy a rotary hammer.

I let me guys do it all, and it took them a day. It would have taken me 3 or 4 and $300 with the chiropractor. LOL! We initially put in about 450 ft but it replaced carpet. No brainer.

Ah hell I tiled 900 sq ft when I 1st got my new house. I had never done tile before in my life. Was a pretty easy job as long as the floors are level. It looks killer.

I just tiled my neighbors bathroom for free. Took me 2 days, but they're older and it was the neighborly thing to do. Tile work is not my profession....Far from it.

Laying it is easy. Taking it up is the problem.

I guess I got lucky. Just pulled up the carpet and tac strips. ;-)
