  • Water leaks from shower head when bath on

When we turn on the bath water, a little water will come out of the shower head even though the stopper (or whatever the technical term is) is down. I don't know shit about plumbing, but does this mean there is a blockage somewhere in the bath faucet causing water to go up through the shower?

If water is flowing freely from the "bath" spout? If so I would guess it is something (lime buildup maybe) not allowing the diverter/stopper to open all the way and not a foreign blockage that is forcing water up to the shower head. Maybe try some CLR, oil, or just replace that bath spout piece.

(I have no experience working with this, just a guess honestly.)

Edit: Oh I googled it and found this...a little help from Canada: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07CqjQW-Z_8&feature=related[/ame]
