I think the city made the builder redo the concrete because they were covering that lid. Honestly, I was thinking about just pouring some quikrete over it , just to even it out. It'll look like shit and probably won't last but it'll be a temp fix

Maybe more bags than you think and then even more of a bitch for when you/someone goes to fix it correctly. The most ghetto fix I'd do is maybe put a form/damn on the grass side and dump a bunch of sand in it.

That won't last long easier, but quick/easy clean-up for when it gets fixed. I assume you're fixing it this year? Or you think it'll be 3-4 years type of thing?

I thought about it but then I figured they would turn it around on me and make me fix it or get fined

A company(can't remember who) did this on Forest Ln here in Garland and it's smoother than most newly paved roads.

Yea they did it out here in Ft worth...

We used to use the same kind of stuff for Sign bases at TXDOT. Stuff can take abuse.

Well, i called the city. they said its most likely my problem and now that i brought it up, they're gonna send someone out to take a look at it and if it doesn't get fixed, i get fined. I don't see how this is my problem when their pipe is running through it and its the reason my driveway is screwed up.

Yes - anyone but you probably. They'll get their fine money and redistribute it to more needy people.

December 2011, my HOA (city where we live) did maintenance on the ditch in front of my house. Tore the fuck out the yard and sprinkler lines. It is their easment, they needed to to do work and I got stuck replacing 200" of spinkler lines, 10 heads, and 10 pallets of sod.

Sometimes I wished we were renters.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
