My dishawasher (very old) has water resting in the bottom of it and whenever I run it water comes up through one of the sides of my sink. I am pretty sure that both the dishwasher and the dispose-all need to be replaced but I am worried that there may be some other problems as well. Are there any board members here that do this for a living and would be willing to help out and get paid of course. Looking for someone trustworthy and reliable over anything else.

Disposal is prob clogged . Turn it on and feed handfuls of ice in to it . NO WATER JUST ICE . It will sound like death but it knocks the hardened debris loose . I've also plugged my p-trap and filled the disposal with simple green and ran the disposal for a few mins to clean it out and get rid of odor. The only difference between a tax man and a taxidermist is that the taxidermist leaves the skin. -- Mark Twain

There's an allen key hole on the bottom of the disposal, insert the proper Allen wrench and give it a turn, it will open and drain the water from the disposal and then you can try turning it on again. I hope this helps.89 Mustang LX

Thanks guys. The disposal was locked up (motor) so I replaced it and everything seems to be working fine again. Went and bought a dushwasher that I do not need anymore if anyone is interested, if not I will just return it whenever I can get a truck to take it back. PM me for details if interested.
