2 questions about new sod (St Augustine) I just laid

I laid all new St Augustine sod on July 30th. Thankful it has made it through this heat. 2 questions:

1- when should i back down the watering 3 times a day?
2- when do you think it is ok to mow new sod for the first time?

Mine is Tif 419 and I mowed it after 2 weeks. Just turned the sprinklers off for 2 days beforehand. I reduced the watering after a week because I had water standing everywhere. 11 zones 30 min each 3 times a day is a lot of water.

i watered mine for 14 days straight and cut it when it was getting really long, just dont cut it too low
