  • Wood Chippers

Who ever owned my house prior to me just let the back part of the acre go to hell. Prob five good dead trees back there or more, and some on the ground. I have been chainsawing a few that were already laying down and making a couple of stacks.

So since my 30 yard dump is full any one ever rent a good wood chipper. Kinda split between dead pines and oaks and thinking about using the mulch to make walk ways back there. Only other option is to burn them this fall or pay someone to wood chip and haul away. Looking for thoughts on how well the wood would work out for mulch. Anyone ever rent one?

Before renting...find the largest branches you want to chip up. Limbs that are 2-3" are no big deal. 8" ones are another story.
