  • Typical cost of wallpapering?

Been looking at houses & a lot of them need updated wallpaper. What's a typical cost to re-wallpaper ? per foot, yard or however it's determined?

I would remove and paint. I can't stand wallpaper personally.

Remove and paint; it is a pain in the ass to remove and texturebut once it is done repainting after a few years is easy. wallpaper looks like shit when it is new and even worse when it starts to stain and tear and come off the wall.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

Fuck, I've been tearing this shit off my walls for years now. The guy that lived here before me apparently thought it was gold.

Same here; old woman had pink flowers all over the damned house. I still don't have the bathrooms and kitchen done yet, and due to the humidity from showers the batheroom looks like shit because the wallpaper is falling off the walls. I really need to spend a weekend and just finally take it down but damnit I don't want to mess with it.

I think it's probably easier just to put up new Sheetrock. Hire some Mexicans.

                    This.

At our old house, the master bath had 3, yes fucken 3 layers of wallpaper! By the time I had it peeled off, the paper part of the drywall was coming off too, so I just ended up ripping out the drywall and replacing it. Much easier and looked better since it was an even surface. Although... you could paster it back to even, but fuck that!

Good point. Drywall really is not that expensive either.

Get a wallpaper steamer for $50 at Lowes/HD...then the wallpaper comes off like nothing (saved us at least 1/4 the time). Don't put up new wallpaper like it's been said, granted I'm not sure where you can even buy it anymore.... Lowes/HD/ACE don't sell it anymore.

There's a lot of cases where you can texture right over it.
