  • Need a detatched Garage

Here in the near future I'm going to need a detatched 2 car garage with a 3rd car carport on the end. What's the best metal building company to go with? I want turn key from slab to garage doors. I would also like to side the front with vinyl to match the house. It was built in 51 so it has a 1 car garage which I will be converting to a bedroom. Huge backyard and I already have a driveway down the side of the house to the back yard. I really wouldn't be opposed to doing it in wood, but I'm afraid it would cost 3X as much.

Most of the estimates I got were around $20,000 for a 30x40
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Give the guys at trmetalbuildings.com a call. They did a great job on my 30*40*12 with a 10*40 awning.

The challenge is the exterior. The city of Arlington says it has to match the house, so it will need vinyl siding. Can you attach vinyl siding to a metal building?

I dont think it would be a problem. I had then pour a brick ledge on the front of mine.

I was hoping the company could build the structure but just now skin it. Then the sides could be covered in plywood and the siding attached directly to plywood.
