Anybody do a window replacement? Mine are looking at bit rough and are 25 years old.

Looking for best bang for the buck. What should I expect to pay for a double pane high efficiency window, installed?

Had a sales guy swing by with some nice (looking) windows. Double pane, lifetime warranty (even on broken glass or screens) installed for about $660 each.

Dunno much about it. Dont need super baller shit. But dont want to replace them again in 5 years either.

    $660 each? jesus...

I did window world, all the upgrades(all white) and it was $1440 for removing 5 windows, and replacing with 4.

I bought White vinyl 4000 series, double hung, double low E glass with argon, windows from Window World about 4 years ago. Free pane replacement if any get broken for any reason. They're still like new and the price was fair.

Removal of 11 windows, installing the new ones, and the cost of the new windows ran right at $3975. Then we got $1500 of that back at tax time thanks to the energy rebate.
