Small workshop organization

I just moved into a townhouse, and I'm building a small workshop in the room under the stairs. Is there a company like Ikea that does workshop storage & organization? I need to make my use of this space as efficient as possible.

Fun fact: I was poking around in the little room in question, and I noticed that almost every stair has a nail backed out in the middle, and most of the nails that were backed out we're simply painted over. So much for minimum standards.

The Container Store has some shelving systems with baskets, hanging rails, all kinds of crap that my wife wants to put in our new house. They are designed for closets or offices, but they can be customized.

^x2, the container store in my area has a shit load of custom shelving and storage stuff and it's 5 blocks from Hard 8.
