I just happened to look up into the A/C vent in my kitchen and spotted something that I think is particular. I'm no expert and I could be wrong but it looks like mold to me. what do you think?

Being in a kitchen, and I assume probly and older home and depending where exactly in the kitchen. I wouldnt think it would be to uncommon as there is more moisture in there and crap like grease and what not.

How do the ones in the bathrooms look?

This is an apartment and if I'm not mistaken they were built around 2007. Being that I live in a tropical climate, it seems like it could be more common.
