What are they and how do I kill them without killing the tree?

i know it sounds weird but my Granny has a green thumb like you wouldnt believe and she told me she uses that ortho pest defense on her plants and "it works like a charm" according to her. -
Can't tell if those are ladybugs but if so, I thought they eat the pests that eat trees...Comment

Not weavles . Grabbed some and took the to home depot. No one knew. Grabbed some Bayer brand stuff. Started spraying both trees. 5 minutes all was off the tree. 15 minutes dead buggies all over the ground . Pety 1 beetle hoard 0.

Tomorrow I'm gonna put 7 dust to work. Grasshoppers like a plague here in the summer. Not to mention the chiggers . Worry bout the dogs getting sic but hey it is what it is.
