Electric weed eaters

I'm tired of mixing gas/oil for my line trimmer, can anyone recommend a good cordless weed eater?

Yeah, I'm torn now that I have more to trim. The 4 strokes are nice, but a bit heavier. However, they work well and the gas situation is nice with them. Fill everything from the same can.

The 4 strokes are the way to go. I love mine!! 2 pulls and it fires right up everytime!

we just bought a Worx for my mom and it seems well made. has adjustments to fit any person and easily turns into an edger. We paid around $160 and it is a 21v I think.

ive got the black&decker battery powered weedeater. Its bout same size as a gas powered one, and works very well. ive had it for 2 years with lots of use. I bought an extra battery in the event im in the middle of trimming, it runs out of juice ive got one in reserve. uses same batteries as the Drills do. I highly reccommend it. from what i understand they also have edging attachments for it too.

I have a Julio or Juan or something like that... works perfectly every other Thursday as long as I leave a $25 check in the grill

I got a 4 stroke. And that things wears me out after doing both front and back. lol. But it is nice that you dont have to mix. ITs a good workout for your arms. lol

Yea not that hard.. heck they even sell cans of pre-mix at walmart now.

Do any offer variable speed yet? Worse than dealing with dragging the cord is blowing through line because it only has two speeds. On and off.

my craftsman weedwacker I got for free is nice.. It was tricky at first but I can control the speed. What I like is if your off the gas the line isnt spinning its ass off still..

My garage looks like a gas weedeater repair shop. Got few given to me that just need new filters and fuel line

Electric or gas? I know you can control gas, but every electric I've used (which is not many) was either on full speed or off unless you wanted to pulse all day.
