Is this something that I can find locally? Anyone had success using this for flea control?

I think you can find it at a COOP. I've used it for flea control before and it does well

Never thought I'd see a post about DE on a mustang site. It works great to cut up fleas but is proven to cause cancer so wear at least a dust mask. I deal with the stuff all the time as a completion fluid engineer.

I understood that food grade DE does not pose a cancer risk. Is that correct?

If you're going to use it on an animal make sure you use feed grade. Do NOT use pool filter DE, it'll kill your animal quicker than shit if they ingest it (which they will.) You can get feed grade from Tractor Supply. I tried it on my dog this year and it didn't work worth a shit, but last year it worked great. I ended up using Advantage II by recommendation from a friend. That stuff worked great.

I think you're missing the point.... You treat the yard, not the dog. lol

Contact Superior Pool Products. They have a warehouse in Grapevine that I would always be picking stuff up from when I was a pool serviceman.

Pretty sure lowes sells it in buckets. You'll have to reapply to the yard after each rain
