Fucking Tree Ants, I need some help.

I've got one tree in the back yard and one big tree in the front yard that ants have pretty much killed. I need to cut them down soon, especially the one in the front. A limb hangs over the neighbors driveway and I'm afraid it's going to trash someones car.

I don't want to cut down the trees untill I kill all the ants. I don't need to take their food source away only to have them come to our houses.

Anyone here know the best way to kill these little bastards and keep them from coming back?

I used this on carpenter ants.... they went nuts for one night.... gone the next day.
