  • Want to get new patio concrete poured

What am I looking at for cost.

Approximately 400 Sqft. give or take. Probably just want a regular smooth concrete as we may eventually tile or just leave bare and put some outdoor rugs down.

What does concrete go for these days.

We're talking Texas here, not Arkansas.

Everyone here in Austin wants an arm and a leg to pour. I'm paying $7 sq ft to add on to my patio.

Contractor came out today to do my addition and convinced me to do a 3" overlay on my existing pad and color/stamp/seal the whole thing. $1500 for 225 sq ft so just under $7/sq ft.

Yeah, they're out there prepping it now. They're going horizontally in with rebar to tie in the expansion and doing vertical rebar tie-ins every 12".
