Try the Greenery in Red Oak. He has his own tree farms and Scott is a super guy. (972)617-5459

I'm also looking for one tree for my front yard. I was thinking about a Red Oak just because I like the color in the fall, but they were around $150 for a 15-gal. Is this normal for trees that size?

Seems pricey to me for any 15 gallon tree but I dont know red oaks. I thought I might have seen some at Home Depot 45gals for $250

Don't you cover more rural areas? If you have the know-how a tree trimming service may not be a bad idea. Big liability issues though.

What areas do you cover anyway?

You may have to get your home depot to call around, but the 45gal for $250 with a tree gator bag is a good deal. I planted 3 this week, and I hope to God we are thru planting trees.

15gal are usually way less than $150. I think I've bought several for $69-$79. Check around.

What is a good 15/20 gal tree for a small front yard? Our crepe mertle finally bit the dust and we want something a little more hardy. We're also needing someone to plant it since we're renting the house out right now.

Shantung Maples FTW- I have one I planted in the heat of the summer 2 years ago, wind storms, hail storm, drought and nothing has kicked it's ass.
