  • Roofer??

Anyone know a roofer that can install 16sq shingles pretty cheap? I will have the house ready to roof late next week. 5/12 pitch all materials on site. Home is located in Quinlan, about 40 minutes east of Dallas.

My best friend works for Canopy Construction, but they aren't cheap. Good and cheap rarely go together.

Yeah should'nt have used the word "cheap" loosely. I want a quality job, but not overpriced. Would not mind helping out a board member if there is one in need of work? I shoot Dan a pm, thanks

Holy shit that's cheap. Hope the quality isn't equal to the price.

What is the going rate out there on average for a sub? Around here it is about $25/sq. He got a good price, but I'd imagine a new builder got around that rate during the boom.

Roofing crews in this area charge between 45-55 SQ If I were to do I would have to pay my crew then I would have to make a little on top of that so the price would be more because I would have to warranty the work too.

Thanks for the reply. What are you getting for a <6/12 pitch existing construction and architectural shingles?

Your quoting reroof labor price not new construction labor price. Hell Big D, Worthem, and Quick actually pay less than 17 a sq for new.
