Well, i checked and didn't see it, but i'm sure its there!

Speaking of helping, anyone wanna help me finish the last 2 things i need done? Just need some in the attick to pull a wire out of the front wall (the one I fell doing) and hook it up to the last camera. Probably take 3 minutes if the wire pulls thru. if not, I'll cut it and run a new one, which would take 5 minutes tops. Then I just need some of that Great Foam stuff sprayed in the holes. Total work time is 10 minutes, probably less.

Do you mind me asking what that kit cost? I think I saw the the same setup at Costco for $400?

I have a GeoVision setup that I was going to piece meal together but my time is too valuable now and think I should do like you and purchase a turn key system. My house is pre wired for 6 security zones so hopefully this would go smooth.

I think it was like $500 or so, plus tax. They have an 8 camera setup too, but more than I needed. They have several diferent types, I got the one that uses it's own DVR, some can use your PC also to record too.

Got mine setup to view from my iPhone now, and I can view it from my PC so the DVR is hidden away.

Here's an example of a night shot with no porch lights on. Pretty decent pic for an iPhone image I think. this also was before I adjusted the image to be a little sharper, set the resolution to high instead of low this morning.

only at night when it is infared, during the day it is color. it's much clearer on my computer than in this pic.
