  • Finally found something to clean the shower walls.

Most of you may already know this. But for those of you who don't, you know it is a bitch to get the calcium deposits off the shower walls. I put some CLR in a spray bottle and sprayed the walls down and the shit came right off. No scrubbing needed. Now I will tell you the CLR is fucking hell on your lungs. So open a window and throw a fan in there too.

I tried all the Lysol products and had no luck.

Do a 3:1 dilution. I use it as well.

Spray the walls and door down with RainX glass cleaner and you won't have to do that as often.

did you happen to use bleach or comet(like on the tub) before the CLR, I wouldn't recommend doing both at the same time, makes a nasty gas. CLR by itself should be ok.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works real well for me on the tile, fiberglass and glass door. Just using water on the eraser cuts through the film.

CLR actually makes a premixed cleaner in a spray bottle now. I bought a regular jug a couple years back to clean the shower heads after installing our water softener and it came with a free bottle of it.

A dryer sheet is also very effective on the glass, just get it a little damp...

No, at least not in the same day. I used lysol soap and scum remover a few days earlier.
