So when do you guys water? I see people watering early in the morning, 6 o'clock in the afternoon,, basically any time. I think the best time is to water right after the sunset to let the water really soak in, butis that any different than doing it in the morning?.

How long are you watering your foundations? How long on the yard?. I don't have a sprinkler system so I am just using the cheap back and forth sprinkler. If you have seen 03trueblu's thread, there is alot of the same stuff happening around my yard. I have about a 2 inch gap at the edge of all the cement on the property.

Get some soaker hoses for your foundation

I have soaker hoses for the foundation. It just seems like no matter how much i water on my two days, the cracks dont go away.

You should water the foundation at least twice a week for 2hrs at a time.

Water at night when it is usually less windy to avoid evaporation and blow off. I start my first cycle at 1:15am. 2 hrs doesn't sound unreasonable for foundation watering. Just make sure it isn't running down the cracks and pooling under the foundation. Once it starts running off, move it to another section.
