  • Any decent ac repairmen in plano/mckinney?

    Well apparently my house 's A/C took a dump this morning and i need to get it looked at/repair ASAP for my tenants.

    PM if anyone knows any good AC guys...

              WHAT WAS the issue?

              It seems that system could be low on freon... the fan runs on the condensor but the system, doesn't actually kick on...

                  the compressor come on? it could be the capacitor...they are going out all the time right now

                    Capacitor

                    My outdoor unit isn't coming on, already checked fuses and breakers. It's not power because I can hear a hum at the condensor fan motor. I cannot get the blades to spin using a stick. It spins freely when unit is off, doesn't seem like the motor is frozen. I think I need a new capacitor... where can I get one? I have a

                      Well i also had the capacitor issue..

                      Since i'm far far away i can't say much. i had the tenants get it fixed for me...
                      Fucking A/C guy made a killing today... 286.00 for a 10 min job..... not even a drop of lube included...

                      Oh well.

                          Fuck, mines just went out too. At least I'm home to fix it. Now where to buy one locally? This one looks very close to some we use at work in the input/output filter section of our machines...
