Anybody know how to knock out chiggers in the yard other than the nuclear insecticide option?

LOL. That's what I'd like to do, but my wife is more a naturalist.

If I could get it, I'd spray my whole yard with Diazinon or Dursban.

If you've got animals or kids running around in the yard, I could see not wanting to spray it down with pesticides.

I've heard diatomaceous earth works for ants and other insects. I don't know if that will solve your problem, but might look into it.

There is no cure. I'm not kidding when I say this, owning land in Texas and dealing with the satanic curse that are chiggers weighed in my decision to leave the state. Taking baths in vinegar, clorox, using lye soap with animal fat, and so on took its toll.

I had land (23 acres) so maybe my experience was different than a neighborhood yard.

i have 11 acres for my house , and a small private 10 acre golf course with it....... total 21 acres .......so nope
