  • where to buy steel?

so my building is done but I need to add a loft now.

I need a couple 6" i beams and some purlin and misc other things. metal mart near Denton said they can't get Ibeams? anyways, anyone have any recommendation around Denton/Aubrey area preferably?

Way South of you but Westex has always had great pricing compared to some of the other places. Other than them, I go to Garland Steel.

How much do you need? I doubt they have drops of 6" I beam

Not sure if you'd be interested, but I've got a metal building I'm trying to rid of. If you can use the steel you're welcome to it.

Liberty Scrap metal or US Metals on the edge of downtown. I buy stainless sheet from US Metals to make custom kitchen backsplash.

Its built but I haven't gotten my loft put in yet and I'm waiting for the loft before I do the insulation and the electric. I will try to shoot some pictures of it this weekend. I love how it came out. they put it up in one day....one long day but they didn't have to come back.
