the fitting is in the plumbing section of HD. It is a rubber bladder that screws onto your water hose, the bladder has a small hole in the end of it. The bladder will swell in the line causing it not to come out and then the small hole in the end acts as a jet of water. sounds like what has happened is when you were vacuuming you sucked a small stick that stuck in an elbow and then leaves pilled on top of that..Very easy to clog a line when you are vacuuming leaves and sticks. If that doesnt work then you will need to call a service to come blow the line out with CO2/air

Lol at stinking up the neighborhood. I take care of the pool where I'm at, but upon moving in it was in terrible shape.

We drained it also and it smelled like swamp water with dead fish in it!

I could try my air compressor like Rusty suggested . Do you think I should blow it back from the pump or start at the skimer ?
