That's interesting. The boxes at Leslie's Pool Supply still say Diatomaceous Earth on them.

Crazy how many uses that stuff has. Pool filter, insecticide, we use it as filter media for fry oil filtration in restaurants as well. It's a cure all! lol

Just imagine what it can do with duct tape and Windex combined! Its powers are limitless.

This is what I use and thank God we have no fleas, chiggers, etc. Only a few little ant hills pop up here and there, but that's it.

As far as results I'm no help, does it not say on the bag how long it should take to take effect?

Go to your local ranch supply and buy bags of sulpher flakes. It's cheap and will green up the yard. For extra bite, mix a bag of bug killer of your choice.

I don't recall seeing it on the bag, it's been a few days now and my dog still has fleas bad! My next step is to use a flea bomb on his dog house. It sucks because my neighbors on both sides of me don't take care of their yards for shit and it drives me nuts...mowing, fertilizer, etc. Every summer I have this problem and I really would like to find a good solution.
            Wanna see my care face???

I usually put down sulfer, I just haven't gotten to that point quite yet, probably will do that this week.

I know it's not your job, but may throw some of that stuff over in their yard, especially if they have pets.
My neighbor had weeds super bad and for a couple years I would see his lawn guy spray the weeds, seemed like he was fertilizing them, cause they never died.
This year I wanted to see and try something, so when I put weed and feed down on my lawn I walked across the alley and did his yard as well.
Weeds were gone in a few days, besides wanting to see if his lawn guy was feeding his weeds, I also didn't want the weeds in my yard.
I love my neighbors and a small portion and money for the weed and feed definitely outweighs the weeds.

Have you also put down the powder in your house to kill them too? If your dog/s come inside at all, there's a good chance that they laid eggs in the carpet.

Yeah I'm not putting anything on my neighbors yard...it's bad enough I have to mow part of their yard just because they are lazy fat fucks who don't care about how their yard looks, I'm sure as hell not putting any cash into their yard. I don't need anything in my house because my dog doesn't come in ever.

Frontline or Frontline Plus? One kills fleas, the other sterilizes them too. I personally uses Sentinel on my dogs which sterilizes fleas and Revolution on my cat that kills them. It ain't cheap, but I haven't had to worry about dips or spraying the yard/house. Maybe this link will help.

I hate Chiggers. Was looking for some Juve's in the woods last week and ended up with like a 100 bites. If I had them damn things in my yard it would be war!!!
