One of the board members is with Pyramid Roofing. We had a storm blow through and the roofing companies were all over the neighborhood like flies on shit. They were telling people that their roofs are totaled and need a full replacement. And that they would fight their insurance companies to they get a new roof with no out of pocket costs, etc. etc. I had my insurance company send out an adjuster and they said there was no damage. The guy from Pyramid Roofing checked out my roof and said I only had a few shingles missing. So I paid him to fix it.

I deal with insurance adjusters all the time and while my self or any other roofing Co. might say they need a new roof it is all up to the adjuster if they want to total it out or not. I just put on a roof for a customer this past weekend where I thought it needed a new complete roof and it really did but the adjuster didn't want to total it out even though every other house in that area was getting new roofs put on that had just as much damage or less. Some insurance Company's just don't want to spend the money. I deal with this all the time and sometimes I ask for a readjustment of the house from a different adjuster and a lot of the time that works and they will total it out if you can point out the damage.

We don't do the cheap skate applications. Everything in the roofing system is top notch. Hell, we even did away with felt paper and use a self sealing material in the valleys, along the rake, and around all protuberances...
