Planted 4 trees yesterday...how big should root ball be?

    No the soil I mixed in with the natural soil had stimulator

      Ahh, that makes sense now. I was going to say, I've never heard of them using root stim while still in the container. Kind of defeats the purpose.

        I don't think it's possible to overdo it with the root stim. However, I'd wait 2-3 weeks before adding more. When I planted my magnolia, and red bud, I hit it with root stim like once a month for the entire summer. The Magnolia is about 1" thick around, and 12-15' tall. So it's tall as shit, and thin. I don't even have stakes in anymore, and you know what the wind has been like lately. Tough ass tree, because it rooted well.
