You are correct, foreign aid is a red herring used to distract the simpletons.

Social Security and Medicaid/Medicare is where all the money goes. And until someone has the balls to tell the poor and old people to fuck themselves, nothing will be solved. Although Paul Ryan is making an honest effort at working a compromise so that young working people carry even MORE of a burden to care for old fucks, at least he is making an effort.

I wish they would allow me to get out of social security, the whole thing is horseshit and even if it is fixed, it will be back in trouble again before I retire. Government bankrupts every god damn thing it touches, people just can't seem to grasp that idea.

Your idea of a flat tax is great, lets get the dirtbags paying their fair share for once instead of spounging off of me. It isn't my fault people can't stop smoking/screwing/eating cupcakes but I pay for it every damn day.

Funny you should bring this up. I just got my "updated" Social Security Satement. I've been paying those assholes since 1973 (I made $300 that summer I turned 13)! I'd like to see my rate of return from those bastards...

As of my Social Security statement, it's 80% of what it was a few years ago.

That's 1% in payments we don't need to make. That's more money in our pockets. Fuck other countries. 800k to teach AFricans to wash their balls?

Most likely your return will be negative when you stop collecting. Using any reasonable inflation rate, anyway.

Meanwhile if you had taken all that money in the 70s and 80s that you paid to them and bought blue chip stocks, you would be posting from your own Carribean island right now.

Cutting foreign aid is a bad idea. We prop up a bunch of our allies' economies, which in the end, is more valuable than sustaining a bunch of lowlife inbred fucktards in our own country.

Look at the fair tax. It taxes everyone one everything they buy. It makes illegals, drug dealers, and even tourists tax payers. I use to like the flat tax idea but you still have a way around that system. The fair tax would fucking level the playing field. I think people that make below a certain amount would get a refund up to a certain amount a year.

Oh and best of all it would do away with most of the IRS............

$6 trillion down, $69 trillion to go!

It is great this issue is finally getting some real publicity.

Exactly. I see a lot of our foreign aid as very similar to our defense spending.

Since when does the constitution make a damn bit of difference to the gov't?

Ryan's unemployment projection is too aggressive, imo, but it's not like CBO projections are anywhere close to reality. Like I said, it's a starting point. When you consider "what they won't tell you" is that our true debt/gdp ratio is over 400%, this issue has to be addressed.

A lot of his projections are wildly aggressive and probably inaccurate, but I guess I'll at least stand behind the idea behind it all.
