People really are just oblivious to the world around them. What scares me is when these people get involved in discussions such as these spouting off their "informed" opinions. Sometimes it's okay to just not have an opinion on a subject, rather than coming out swinging at a pinata you have no chance of hitting.

you dont really see poor white neighborhoods in southern cities. places like chicago, boston, and new york have poor irish and italian neighbor hoods and its been that way for generations.

Maybe it's because white peple have always migrated and spread out, whereas poor blacks tend to stay in one place.
