WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Barack Obama had to try a couple of doors at the White House before finally gaining access to the Oval Office on Wednesday.

Returning from a five-day trip to Latin America, video shows the president strolling up to french doors at the White House and trying the handle on a locked door. He appeared to be whistling as he made his way down to another set of doors that were open.

White House staff was apparently not informed that the President was coming back to work before his arrival.

I could only hope that someone was really trying to lock him out.

Guess nobody told the White House staff he was coming back early from his (taxpayer funded family vacation) trade mission to South America. Apparently Hillarity whispered in his ear that it doesn't look good to start a war and then let Sarkozy steal your thunder as leader of the free world.

Seems odd that he would be going somewhere that they wouldn't know about. Someone would have called ahead and told security to be ready and they'd know what door he was going to be coming in.
