    Wonder what the requirements are to make a private club. i.e. I can still smoke in the American Legion. Is it just membership? Do you have to pay for the membership or can it just be free?

      Very true. Very sad. Our latest budget cuts just took a buttload from schools, yet the Texas Lottery is booming with money.

      Tyler, Tx has a no smoking ordinance. Their pool halls are pretty awesome and make a shitton of money. They do provide smoking areas outside with fans/misters (summer), cover from the weather, small fireplaces (winter), and music, though.

      I would do something similar, just because I enjoy sitting outside with friends to have a chat while I get ready for another few games of pool. I would also have a top notch ventilation system to handle the inside air so that anyone can enjoy that environment as well.
