Barack Obama: Worst president ever?

No Herbert Hoover fans?
Hitler took over Germany and the Japanese started invading China and building up their empire under his watch. Not to mention going from a booming economy to a depression his first year in office, eventually leading to a world wide depression and WW2.
The worst things in my opinion under his watch though were using the military to forcibly remove protesting veterans from Washington and the Mexican Repatriation policy he started, neither of which are taught about in schools for some reason.
He may not be the worst ever but he has to be close to the top, and unfortunately a Republican.

Carter sucked ass, The economy was horrible there where no jobs and he could not help the hostages in Iran. The hostage thing really made me hate the peanut farming prick. Over all I think Obamy has done more damage based on the short amount of time in office.

Originally posted by Vertnut View PostEver? I'm not sure, but in my lifetime? No doubt. LBJ and Carter were pretty damn bad. As far as entitlement programs, LBJ just killed us long term. He also escalated Viet Nam, consequently, costing 60k American lives.
Carter tried to do most of what this current ass-hat is doing. I had a 22% car loan (on a '79 Z28) and a 15% mortgage on my first house. Double-digit unemployment AND inflation. It was surreal.
I've never seen a POTUS down-talk our country and bow down (literally) to third-world country leaders. Never seen a POTUS spend $800 billion dollars on a "stimulus package", and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Never seen a POTUS to buy votes in the house and senate to institute socialized medicine. There's so much more, but my post is becoming boring, so I'll just say he the worst in the last 50 years.
Unlike 90% of the people on this board, I'm old enough to have LIVED this. I'm not talking about rumors or classroom bullshit...I was there.
I just missed out (if you wanna call it that) on LBJ, but got to see plenty of the mess he left behind.
During the Carter administration, I was almost ashamed of our country.
When President Reagan took over, that was reversed in short order. I even had the pleasure of meeting him when I was 15, he was just coming out of the Oval Office and stopped and took the time to chat with my family...that's just the kind of man he was."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."
