Seriously.. Though they were big on pushing boundaries in the original run too, earlier than most. I went back last year and watched most of the original series. Several openly gay characters when there wasn't much of that on TV, let alone sitcoms. They also touched on a lot of sensitive topics back then early on.. Race, homosexuality, domestic abuse, abortion, depression.. Maybe more than a sitcom should have, which was why I pretty much lost interest back then.
