I agree too. My dad passed when I was young. For 18 years I lived down the street from my mom's parents. So my grandpa kinda became my dad figure. I loved going down to their house and just listening to their stories. Hearing first hand about the great depression and the hardships they endured was just fascinating to hear. Whenever I went to junkyard I always asked him to go, as well as home depot trips etc. He passed at 88, I still think about him when I'm doing something that we would have done together. When he was sick, he would sleep during the day and stay up to talk to me on the phone. I was working 3pm to 3am. The night he died he called just to say he loved me. Mom called the next morning, I already knew what she was going to say.
