i was really disturbed by them, good call..... -
I was sitting at Cafe Du Monde during this event last year:
We were in town for Nola On Tap and a cruise the next day, completely oblivious as to why there were 100+ cops walking around in riot gear. Thankfully our Uber driver was a trooper and told us to meet him on a side street. However their software took us right by the marchers. I'd estimate 2k+ and there were a bunch of BLM signs in the crowd. Needless to say I was extremely nervous and was really glad our driver happened to be black that day.
There are lots of jackasses on both sides but taking down monuments isn't going to change history.Comment
