this stuff comes from facebook buddy, but if you want me to google it, and explain to you how information sharing on these here fancy internet machines goes, it starts like this.
The media jumped on an early morning tweet claiming the new NBA champions wanted no part of visiting President Donald Trump. Turns out the Warriors made another play and their arrival in the nation's capital is still undetermined.
How A Tweet Had The Golden State Warriors Boycotting The White House And How They Still Might
Early this morning, 10 minutes after the East Coast start of the morning news shows, Josh Brown of CNBC posted a tweet that the Golden State Warriors voted unanimously to skip the traditional championship appearance at the White House.
rown cited the boycott news as "per reports." Members of the media quickly followed. Searching the internet for Golden State Warriors and White House turned up posts in Atlanta Journal-Constitution, NBC Sports, the Independent, New York Daily News, and the Kansas City Star.
In the subtweets to the newsmaker above, Brown, who has 721,000 Twitter followers and runs The Reformed Broker, went back and forth with Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead. McIntyre wanted to know the source of the information. Brown wrote, "I have no idea if its true, hence 'per reports.'"THE BAD HOMBRE

What happened to reporters actually checking facts before publishing? Even the AJC page has edited their headline.
I'd rather read a factual story about how the Warriors are moving from Oakland to San Francisco even though most locals don't really want them there. Going from an area that's mostly black with a per capita income of $33k to an area that's mostly white with around 50% higher per capita income right after they win the championship.
Also note that the Raiders are moving to Las Vegas and every year someone else is trying to woo away the A's for some reason. The city already has a 9.25% sales tax rate, more than San Francisco btw.
So the people make way less money and pay more in taxes and in return they lose their one sports franchise that's actually pretty good to wealthy whites across the bay who don't even really want a basketball team.

Some patriot. The Super Bowl champion New England Patriots were honored by President Obama at the White House on Thursday — without their quarterback, Tom Brady. In a deflating move, Brady blew off…
It just wasn't news because it didn't portray something negative against Trump.
