The government of South Africa has determined that they will make their country more prosperous by stealing property based on the owner's race and redistributing it to friends and family of the thieves. Starvation in Sub-Saharan Africa has been just another type of plague in every culture since before the beginning of recorded history. The history of Sub-Saharan Africa was one of continuing misery for most until the Europeans stepped in to show them how to function at a level higher then that of a wandering cave man. Most of the European colonized countries in Africa actually functioned at a decent level until the Europeans started to feel guilty about colonizing them and began to pull out.

And look how well that has gone. We really should have left them as tribesmen. I don't look down on that existence one tiny little bit. It was good enough for all humanity for well over 100k years, and now all the sudden its not? They knew how to survive, how to live off the land, etc. You don't live on the same land since the dawn of time and not know all of that. They were just fine the way they were. Just as any uncontacted tribes in new guinea, or south america is just fine the way it is and should be left alone.

They do not want to live like tribesmen. Most of them want to live the way that we do and are working hard towards that goal. Many of them wish that the Europeans who colonized them had stuck around longer to help them become developed nations instead of being at the half way point that they seem to be stuck at.
