Before its used against me, I SMOKE POT, A LOT.

I just prefer to talk about the current issues, and not the election from 6 months ago, or dumb meme's. I also get to gauge the free-thinkers vs. the party liners.

White House compares recreational pot to opioid crisis, says DOJ will be 'taking action'
WASHINGTON – White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said at Thursday’s daily press briefing that he expects the Department of Justice will be “taking action” against states that have legalized recreational marijuana, and at the same time seemingly compared recreational use to the nationwide opioid crisis.

“There’s a big difference between [medical] and recreational marijuana,” Spicer said. “And I think that when you see something like the opioid addiction crisis blossoming in so many states around this country, the last thing that we should be doing is encouraging people.”

Spicer was addressing a question about medical marijuana from an Arkansas reporter. State voters legalized a medical marijuana program in the state last year.

“This president understands the pain and suffering that many people go through who are facing especially terminal diseases, and the comfort that some of these drugs, including medical marijuana, can bring them.”

But he added to the worry that some supporters of recreational marijuana have had since Jeff Sessions, who has in the past been a critic of legal recreational pot, was nominated and confirmed as the new U.S. attorney general.

Naynus posts and admission of pot smoking doesn't bode well for the image that pot doesn't harm you...

Perhaps if you "forget" to plumb something correctly.

Sorry, I don't want someone that smokes "a lot" of pot working on anything I own.

                        Did someone call my name?

The reason I do not drink or just do not drink much is from a few bad experiences in my teens with drinking.

I was in the parking lot of a club called Amnesia drinking from a bottle of vodka while washing it down with Gatorade. People were walking by and I was having such a grand time talking to folks that I was not paying attention to how much I was drinking and the bottle of vodka ran dry shortly before the bottle of Gatorade did. I went into the club and in a short amount of time I was tossed out for being too drunk and then went to Caligulas across the street where they do not mind you being falling down drunk. My talking game must have been pretty good that night because I took a dancer home who lived in The Colony. The next morning at dawn I woke up a few hundred yards off of hwy 121 in my car with some red neck knocking on my window to check on me. The only thing that I had on was my watch, one boot, and a condom. I opened the door to my car and nearly barfed on the guys feet. The guy started laughing and told me that he had woken up in the weeds a few times himself. I made it home and spent the day in bed with a book, iced tea, and a barf bowl. It took me weeks to remember the details of the night; I got pissed off and walked out of the girls house after believing that I had gotten dressed. I was 16 or 17 when this happened.

Don't worry. He just designs the system and doesn't do the hands on work himself so what could possible go wrong?

Not a fan of pot, but I think Trump's Administration has more pressing issues they should be focusing on right now.

“I don’t think America is going to be a better place when people of all ages, and particularly young people, are smoking pot,” Sessions said to reporters Monday at the Department of Justice. “I believe it’s an unhealthy practice, and current levels of THC in marijuana are very high compared to what they were a few years ago, and we’re seeing real violence around that.”
