  • New Hampshire goes constitutional carry

N.H. eliminates concealed carry license requirement

It is now legal to carry a loaded, concealed weapon without a piece of paper in the State of New Hampshire. Republican Gov. Chris Sununu signed the Constitutional Carry bill into law on Wednesday. There are now at least 12 states with the right to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

“It is common-sense legislation. This is about making sure that our laws on our books are keeping people safe while remaining true to the live-free-or-die spirit.” Gov Sununu

This is how it should be in every state.

Meh. I feel like licensing does a lot to weed out people I don't like.

I pictured you saying that while pointing with knife hands.

I'm sure the undesirables and criminals are going to carry regardless of if their CHL status.

                      Good. Point.
When open carry hit Dallas, people all over town freaking out, "...oh! It's the wild west and shit!"
I mean, aren't we like 1 of 6 states that wasn't open carry up to now?

I've noticed an odd silence in the news about a shooting that happened in Arlington last week that really brings the whole constitutional carry topic to the front and center...I'm really interested to see how it unfolds...given the armed robbery victim was carrying WITHOUT a CHL and shot the 16y/o armed black kid who tried to rob him at gunpoint off of Little Rd/I20 who then jumped into the passenger side of the STOLEN truck with his accomplice and fled...but was luckily apprehended. Briefly saw a post on FB about it...then crickets. The VICTIM was carrying....without a CHL...and used his firearm to defend himself. Is the state going to prosecute him for not having a CHL? Is the family of the 16y/o armed robber going to be able to sue him because he defended himself without having a CHL? Constitutional carry would solve this matter.

Tell me exactly how not having a CHL will prevent someone from carrying if they damn well feel like doing so.
