It all started with the Trayvon incident when trying to reason with others that the NBC tape was doctored and getting nowhere. Then Obama stoking the flames with "could have been my son" comment. I started to notice that the media had a bias and an agenda. Fox news does as well just more right leaning instead of left. Then you had the Micheal Brown nonsense.
I am still left of center because I am pro-choice and live and let live as far as other social issues.
Then comes the pre-election. I watched both the DNC and RNC primaries. When Trump mentioned the wall and that Mexico isn't sending their brightest, I absolutely agreed. There are probably millions of people that cant get through the legal immigration system because too many un-vetted illegals already cut in line. How supporting this is humanitarian and not supporting is racist is beyond me.
This brings me to another point. No longer can you reason or have a difference of opinion because since the extreme left hijacked the party you will be considered a racist or Nazi for any disagreement. Hell I'm considered racist and privileged just because I'm white. But I digress.
Back to the election. As far as the DNC side I liked where Bernie stood on a few issues. And thought OK this guy has a chance. Then when I noticed that the DNC was rigged for Hillary due to the super-delegates crap and how the media flaunted over her, I started to notice that Hillary truly was bought and paid for by wall street and the media.
To make matters worse, I started hearing about Trump supporters starting attacking people at their conventions. So I looked into it and found out it was actually DNC supporters doing the attacking and the media putting a spin on it. I think I was redpilled at that point. I even posted in the San Jose thread back then.
My last point is this. Of all the things I disagreed with, the muslim issue was the one that really blows my mind of how out of touch these new age liberals are. They go and bash Christians for doing things that they will defend a muslim for doing much worse. I dont care for any religion, but I can see that there is a degree of extreme. And now the media is ignoring the problems in Europe with the refugees and want a bunch of un-vetted refugees to come here as well? Of everything I've seen, most if not all seem to be men between their late teens and early 30s. I'm with Bill Maher and Sam Harris on this issue. Most of the population of muslims agree with death for apostasy as well as agreeing that Charlie Hebdo should have died for drawing Mohamed the kiddie diddler.
I still thought Hillary was going to win due to the polls and media. When the results started showing Trump pulling ahead, I started screaming at the TV saying that's what you get and thank goodness the extreme left politics is losing.
So keep on protesting. Your only hurting yourselves. I consider myself middle left, but don't want anything to do with what the left has become. I'm not alone and the election results proved that.
