This is a conundrum. It falls in with 10th Amendment nullify type stuff. We, here at the state level, don't want to be subjected to federal legislation created outside of its constitutionally granted power---when it comes to magazine bans or assault rifle bans etc, for example. But we shouldn't have to be subjected because the 2nd amendment prohibits the federal government from infringing also.

On the other hand, it is within the federal government's scope of responsibilities to control "invasion" type problems regarding the border of THE COUNTRY. The federal government (Obama) even went to court asserting this power against AZ, back when AZ tried to enforce immigration law, in order to STOP AZ. Funny how everyone squeaks isn't it? The sheriff is a bad mother.

My lesson I took from watching all this over the past few beers, is the political climate gives life to enforcement in some way or takes that life away. It's like the country breathes in with Democrats and breathes out with Republicans. That prolly made no sense whatsoever.... eh.
